The Application Process

Nominations

Each year employers, colleagues, alumni, and board members nominate candidates to apply to our classes. No one understands the value of our programs more than the people that have gone through it. So what does mean to be nominated? It means someone sees a leader in you and think that you would find the program valuable for your professional and personal development. Keep in mind: Although a high percent of applicants are nominated, it is not a requirement to apply to any of our programs.

APPLYING

Submit your application online using one of the above links. Forms are not lengthy but cannot be saved, so please be prepared to attach your resume (and two reference letters, if applying for the Signature program) and complete your application in one sitting. We are accepting applications until the middle of August for LFRE and until September 18 for Signature. We encourage prospects to apply as soon as possible, as our classes do fill each year. If you have questions or require an accommodation for a paper application, please contact info@leadershipsc.org.

SELECTION

We look across three sectors in the community – business, government, and non-profit– to ensure that we have a diverse group in each class.

TUITION

The tuition for the Signature Program is $3,500 ($3,100 nonprofit rate). Tuition is kept affordable through sponsorship and scholarship support. Most employers underwrite program tuition. We have a limited amount of financial assistance available for eligible participants. Please indicate your financial need on the application.
